Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore is a teaching hospital for the University of Limerick Graduate Entry Medical School. Third Year medical students rotate through the Emergency Department in one week blocks.
During this rotation, students are asked to
- Attend an induction meeting
- Attend a tutorial on basic airway management
- Complete five case reports
- Complete a list of basic procedures eg venous cannulation
- Attend a final sign-off meeting
